About the Venue:

The Starlight Lounge, isn't a real card room, it isn't even a real lounge. It is what happens when a graphic designer with a marking degree starts a regular home game of poker and wants to add some extra examples to his design portfolio. Games are by invitation only and the house never takes any sort of rake. So, if you have stumbled on to this web site by accident looking for an open game, sorry to disappoint.

The first game at the "Starlight Lounge" was held on November 22nd, 2004, and it did not take long for us to become hooked on playing cards. It is a very friendly game, where the more experienced players are more than willing to share knowledge with the newer players.

As mentioned above, this site is being used as a testing ground for new web design and development techniques. If you see a new feature on the site, play with it!
